1) Prepositions of place
Mivel az útmutatáshoz meg kell mondanunk helyek, épületek pontos helyét, ezért használnunk kell helyhatározó prepozíciókat (pl.: The bank is next to the police station. The post office is between the town hall and the courthouse.).Ismételjük át a helyhatározó elöljárószavakat (prepositions of place) és jelentésüket az alábbi képpel:

- Bank:
Go along this street. There’s a supermarket on the right. Go past the supermarket and take the first turning on the left. There’s a bank on the right. It’s on the corner, next to the police station. - Post office:
It’s on the other side of the canal. Turn right at the traffic lights. Go along that road till you come to a roundabout. Go straight on at the roundabout and over a bridge. The post office is on the left. It’s between the courthouse and the town hall – opposite the prison.
